We’re on the hunt for a dedicated and spirited Afterschool Group Music Maestro to join our wonderful crew. In this delightful role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students and play a pivotal part in their learning journey. What You'll Be Up To:

• Craft engaging lesson plans that hit all the right notes, following curriculum guidelines.

• Teach budding musicians beginner piano, guitar, violin, and percussion skills.

• Use your magical teaching methods to inspire students and keep them grooving along.

• Track student progress like a maestro keeping time and provide empowering feedback.

• Keep harmony in the classroom while nurturing an encouraging environment.

• Collaborate harmoniously with fellow team members (no solos here!).

• Maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians and our team regarding any student triumphs or troubles.

• Stay sharp by participating in professional development activities that fine-tune your teaching prowess.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with children in settings like daycare centers or tutoring hubs is music to our ears!

• Strong group management skills – think of it as conducting an orchestra of young minds!

• A solid grasp of early childhood education principles is key.

• Adaptability is crucial; every student learns at their own tempo!

• Stellar communication chops – connect effortlessly with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues alike!

A genuine zest for teaching that lights up students’ potential would be fantastic! Familiarity with special education? Bonus points! A flair for theater or performing arts? Even better!

Note: This role comes with compensation.
